Shakira has postponed her concert at Egypt’s Giza pyramids from 28 November to 2 April 2027, saying safety is her priority amid “the current circumstances in the region”.
The Colombian singer announced the change on Instagram, according to Nieuws.nl. She said the show in Cairo had been due to close her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which began in Rio de Janeiro in February 2025. “I promise you it will be more than worth the wait,” she wrote.
Nieuws.nl also reports that the tour has grossed more than $534 million and included 13 concerts in Madrid. The report links the postponement to regional security concerns but does not specify a particular threat to the concert.
