The Netherlands’ central bank says Unity Monetary Services B.V. paid €5,000 in penalties after failing to submit its 2024 audited financial statements on time. The company later filed the audit report and complied with the order, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) said.
The filing was due by 31 December 2025. DNB imposed a penalty order on 24 April 2026, giving the company ten working days to submit the report. It then exceptionally extended the deadline to 17 August. Unity submitted the report on 22 August, incurring €5,000 in penalties, according to the regulator.
DNB said the failure breached the Dutch Financial Supervision Act. Unity did not object to the order, which has therefore become final.
