Liverpool’s Jeremie Frimpong has been left out of the Netherlands’ matchday squad for Sunday’s Nations League game away to Serbia.

The Netherlands had 24 players available for the Serbia fixture, but Nations League matchday squads are limited to 23. ANP, citing a UEFA squad list, reported that coach Xavi Hernández had omitted Frimpong for this match. [1]
The squad had changed after Brian Brobbey was injured against Germany and Lutsharel Geertruida was injured in training. Hernández called up Joshua Zirkzee to replace Brobbey. [1]
