Aerosmith return to stage after three-year absence

Aerosmith have returned to the stage for the first time in three years, playing in Los Angeles with guest musicians including Dave Grohl, Guns N’ Roses, The Black Crowes and Johnny Depp, according to Nieuws.nl, citing US media.

Foo Fighters frontman Grohl drummed for much of the show in place of Joey Kramer, who has been absent from the band for years because of health issues. Kramer later joined Aerosmith on stage to play their hit “Walk This Way”.

The concert was Aerosmith’s first since the band cancelled its farewell tour because of Steven Tyler’s persistent voice problems. A second show is scheduled for Sunday.
