League Two side Fleetwood Town will host either Everton or Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals after reaching the last eight for the first time in the club’s history.
Fleetwood, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, secured their place by beating Premier League champions Arsenal on penalties on Tuesday. They will learn their opponents after Everton host Newcastle in the final fourth-round tie on Thursday.
The quarter-final draw also sends holders Manchester City to face Bradford City, the only other team from outside the Premier League still in the competition. Crystal Palace will host Sunderland, while Liverpool welcome Bournemouth.
The ties are scheduled for the week beginning 14 December.
