De Bondgenoten won the Gouden Televizier-Ring, and Dutch presenter Jan Versteegh won the award for best presenter, Nieuws.nl reports. He described the celebration that followed as a big night out. [1]
Speaking on Radio 538 on Friday morning, Versteegh said he had just taken two paracetamol. He denied being extremely drunk but felt the wins deserved celebrating. The evening had been wonderful and a little strange, he said, and he expected to go to work cheerfully later on Friday. [1]
