Dutch satire series *Promenade* returns with podcast-themed season

The Dutch satirical programme *Promenade* will return on 25 October with a new series, titled *Promemedia*, the broadcaster NTR has announced. The series moves its setting to the world of podcasts, following the previous instalment, *Chateau Promenade*.[1]

Creator Diederik Ebbinge will return alongside actors Henry van Loon, Ton Kas and Eva Crutzen. NTR said Ebbinge would take a different approach after the fictional programme’s “disastrous adventure” in northern France. *Promemedia* is the first series of *Promenade* that Ebbinge has not written himself, according to an earlier interview cited by Nieuws.nl.[1]

The programme began in 2019. Nieuws.nl reported that Ebbinge’s social media followers welcomed the announcement of its return.[1]
