Recordings featuring Paulien Cornelisse were watched for a combined 45 hours in Beeld & Geluid’s online archive, De Schatkamer, from Wednesday to 2 October, Nieuws.nl reported. Shortly before her death, they had attracted almost no viewing. Cornelisse’s death at 50 was announced late on Wednesday afternoon. She had been ill for some time. [1]
A Beeld & Geluid spokesperson told Nieuws.nl that Cornelisse was the archive’s most-searched person. Only the terms ‘Swiebertje’ and ‘Jiskefet’ had been entered more often. [1]
Most people watching her material chose something from the 2016 programme DWDD Summerschool: Aap, Noot, Fout, in which Cornelisse gave a lesson on the Dutch language. [1]
