Ajax made a €2 million net profit in 2025/26 after losing €37.3 million a year earlier, with player transfers helping drive the turnaround.

Ajax posted a €2 million net profit for 2025/26, reversing a €37.3 million loss in the previous financial year. The Dutch club announced its annual figures on 25 September 2026, ANP reported. [1]
Net revenue rose by €10.2 million to €188.3 million, while the club’s equity stood at €191 million following the year’s profit. [1]
Ajax attributed the profit mainly to player transfers and an improved operating result, despite various financial setbacks. ANP reported that transfers generated €65.5 million during the year. Departures included Jorrel Hato to Chelsea, Brian Brobbey to Sunderland and Kenneth Taylor to Lazio. [1]
On the pitch, Ajax finished fifth in the Eredivisie and failed to qualify for the Champions League. ANP said missing out on the competition would cost the club many millions of euros in income. [1]
