U2 have added a third Amsterdam show to their 2027 tour after strong demand during the presale. The Irish band will play the Johan Cruijff ArenA on 9 June, alongside previously announced dates on 5 and 6 June.
Concert organiser MOJO announced the extra date on Thursday. General ticket sales are due to begin on Friday.
The shows are part of U2’s The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, their first stadium tour since 2019. It is linked to the band’s forthcoming album, *Carnaval De Luz*, due for release on 13 November. The group’s new single, “The Greatest Show On Earth”, has already been released, with a video directed by Dutch photographer and filmmaker Anton Corbijn.
The European leg is scheduled to begin in Stockholm on 27 April. British band Wolf Alice will join the tour as a special guest.
