More than 45 well-known Dutch people have shared a campaign message highlighting concerns about attitudes towards homosexuality among young people.

More than 45 well-known Dutch people shared the Geen Stap Terug (“No Step Back”) message on social media at the same time on Thursday, Nieuws.nl reported. The campaign, organised by Report it Always (Rita), aims to draw attention to what it describes as declining acceptance of homosexuality among young people. [1]
Participants named by Nieuws.nl include Roxeanne Hazes, Edson da Graça, Sterre Koning, King Faisel and Tanja Jess. Amsterdam mayor Femke Halsema also shared the message. The campaign images suggest ways people can help improve the safety and acceptance of LGBTQ people. Organisations and businesses have joined in too. [1]
Nieuws.nl cited figures for secondary-school pupils showing that the share of boys with a positive attitude towards homosexuality fell from 40% in 2021 to 22% in 2025. Among girls, it fell from 78% to 51% over the same period. [1]
