Feyenoord dropped two points at home on Saturday as Fortuna Sittard scored an 86th-minute equaliser to secure a 1-1 draw, leaving the Eredivisie leaders’ position open to challenge later in the day.
Captain Luciano Valente put Feyenoord ahead after an hour, but Shiloh ’t Zand levelled for Fortuna. The midfielder is on loan at the Limburg club from Feyenoord.
After 11 matches, Feyenoord have 25 points. Second-placed Ajax could move to 24 with a win over AZ later on Saturday. Feyenoord had also drawn at home against Go Ahead Eagles and ADO Den Haag earlier in the season.
