Around 66,000 people visited participating homes during Dutch estate agents’ association NVM’s open-house day on Saturday 3 October, up from 52,000 at its previous event in March, ANP reported. [1]
Nearly 14,500 homes were open for viewing without an appointment between 11am and 3pm, compared with 8,900 in March. The rise in visitors came alongside a substantial increase in the number of participating homes. Estate agents suggested the sunny weather may also have helped attendance. [1]
NVM said a home in Rosmalen sold to visitors that afternoon, while an estate agency in Apeldoorn reported at least three bids. A property in Arnhem had the highest reported turnout at a single home, with 66 visitors. [1]
