Review information is loading.
The BBC has reported from central Kalimantan, where Indonesia is battling what it describes as its worst wildfire season in a decade, and hazardous air pollution is affecting residents. The haze has also drifted into neighbouring Singapore and Malaysia, the BBC says. [1]
BBC correspondent Liza Tambunan’s report says the haze has been linked to hundreds of thousands of respiratory illnesses in Indonesia. The BBC video page does not give further details about the fires, pollution readings or the illnesses.
