Martin Garrix will release his first pop album, *MARTY*, on 5 March 2027, the Dutch DJ announced at Amsterdam Dance Event. The 14-track record will blend pop and dance music and feature collaborations with U2, Ed Sheeran, Madonna and Spanish singer Aitana. [1]
Garrix will sing extensively on the album for the first time. U2 frontman Bono helped him with his vocal technique and co-wrote music for the record, according to Nieuws.nl. [1]
The album’s themes include growing up in the spotlight, dealing with fame and “eternal love”. Garrix said he chose the 14 tracks from more than 400 songs he had worked on in recent years. The title recalls DJ Marty, the name he performed under as a child. [1]
He is due to preview some unreleased songs at a private Spotify event in Amsterdam on Wednesday. [1]
