Anthropic reported quarterly revenue of nearly $17 billion, more than 12 times its level a year earlier, while its net loss almost doubled to $23.3 billion. The figures underline the scale of the AI company’s growth — and the cost of expanding it — as it prepares for a planned New York stock-market listing.
The company, which makes the Claude AI platform, filed for an initial public offering late last month, according to ANP and Bloomberg, cited by Nieuws.nl. The listing is expected to take place before Thanksgiving on 26 November.
Anthropic’s costs rose to $17.5 billion in the quarter, compared with the same period last year, the report said. It did not specify the period covered by the quarter or give further detail on the costs.
