Hapoel Beer Sheva will not be allowed to bring away supporters to its Europa League match at AZ in Alkmaar on 15 October following a local public-safety decision.
Review information is loading.
The restriction applies to supporters travelling with Hapoel Beer Sheva for the Europa League fixture against AZ, rather than to Israeli supporters generally. Dutch news agency ANP, citing AZ’s website, reported that the decision was made by the local security authorities — the municipality, police and Public Prosecution Service — on public-safety grounds. AZ says it respects the decision and is focusing on organising the match safely. Kick-off in Alkmaar is scheduled for 18:45 on Thursday 15 October. [1]
