Demi Vollering has been fined and docked points after winning the women’s road world title in Montréal.

The UCI race jury penalised Vollering after she won Saturday’s women’s road world championship in Montréal. She received a fine of 1,000 Swiss francs, a yellow card and a deduction of 25 UCI points. [1] [2] [3]
WielerFlits reported that the jury described the offence as adopting a prohibited position or point of support on the bicycle. Austrian rider Katharina Sadnik received the same penalties for the same offence. [1] [3]
