Sylvester Stallone has described an obsessive relationship with his body while making *Rocky III*, saying he struggled to keep food down.

Stallone recalled having 2.6% body fat while making *Rocky III*. He said he could not — or did not want to — keep food down because he had become so focused on staying fit. He also said he used performance-enhancing drugs to meet his physical standards and that they took a heavy toll. [1]
Stallone said he was able to relax his demands on his physique somewhat when he appeared in the 1997 film *Cop Land*. His comments came in a New York Times interview connected to his memoir *The Steps*, which Nieuws.nl said was due at the end of September. [1]
