Brian Brobbey and Lutsharel Geertruida missed the final session through injury before Sunday’s Nations League match in Belgrade.

The Netherlands completed their final training session with 24 players ahead of the Nations League away match against Serbia, ANP reported. Injured striker Brian Brobbey and defender Lutsharel Geertruida were absent. Coach Xavi Hernández called up Joshua Zirkzee to replace Brobbey but did not call up a replacement for Geertruida. [1]
Midfielder Gjivai Zechiël, who played in the Netherlands under-21 side’s 0–0 European Championship qualifying draw against Norway on Friday, was due to rejoin the senior squad on Monday. The team was due to fly to Belgrade on Saturday afternoon, with Hernández and Micky van de Ven scheduled to give a press conference there at 20:00. [1]
