The Dutch stage production *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child* has drawn more than 300,000 visitors in just over six months, earning its cast and crew a triple Diamond Ticket Award, producer Stage Entertainment says.
The award was presented on Saturday by the Association of Free Theatre Producers, according to a report by Nieuws.nl. Valentijn van Hall, who plays Harry Potter, called the milestone “super cool” and said the production was a magical experience for both the audience and the company.
The play opened in March at the AFAS Circustheater in Scheveningen. Set 19 years after the events of the Harry Potter books, it follows continued demand for tickets: sales have been extended through February.
