Kassa is set to leave Dutch television after 2026 and continue online. Presenter Amber Kortzorg says the decision surprised her, and she does not yet know the new version’s format or budget.

Dutch consumer affairs programme Kassa will leave television after 2026 but continue online in a new form, according to Nieuws.nl. The outlet says the programme had previously been expected to end altogether because of cuts to public broadcasting. It reports that the final television broadcast is scheduled for 5 December. [1]
Presenter Amber Kortzorg told the ANP at the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala on 8 October that the news had surprised her. She knew BNNVARA management had been discussing Kassa’s future with the NPO, she said, but had not known a decision had been made. Kortzorg said she did not yet know what the online version would look like or what budget it would have. [1]
Nieuws.nl says viewer support and Kassa’s nomination for the Gouden Televizier-Ring contributed to the decision to continue the programme. Kortzorg welcomed the move online, saying it could help Kassa retain a large audience in ten or fifteen years. [1]
