Luke Humphries will face James Wade in the World Grand Prix semi-finals after both won their quarter-finals 3–0 on Friday.

Humphries beat Niels Zonneveld 3–0 in Friday’s quarter-final, extending his run through this year’s tournament without dropping a set. The world number two averaged 85.91 and hit four 180s, with a checkout success rate of 33.33%. [1]
Wade also won 3–0, knocking out third seed Gian van Veen to set up Saturday’s meeting with Humphries. Humphries said his practice form had not fully carried into matches this week and expected a tough contest against Wade. [1]
In the other half of the draw, Nathan Aspinall beat Ryan Joyce 3–0. Gerwyn Price recovered from two sets down to beat Jonny Clayton 3–2 after Clayton missed match darts. Aspinall and Price will meet in the second semi-final. [1]
