Lhuan-dre Pretorius has set a new record for the highest individual score in men’s T20 cricket, hitting an unbeaten 188 from 79 balls for Titans against Knights in South Africa’s CSA T20 Challenge. His innings surpassed Chris Gayle’s 175 for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Pune Warriors in the 2013 Indian Premier League. [1]
The 20-year-old struck 13 sixes and 15 fours at Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein. He reached his half-century from 24 balls, his century from 40 and 150 from 58 as Titans amassed 267-3. [1]
