US regulators said they found no shortcomings or deficiencies in the 2025 resolution plans of 15 large banking organisations.

The Federal Reserve Board and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation published feedback letters on 29 September for resolution plans submitted in October 2025 by 15 banking organisations, each with more than $250bn in assets. The agencies said their joint review found no shortcomings or deficiencies in the submissions. [1]
Often called ‘living wills’, resolution plans set out a banking organisation’s strategy for orderly resolution if it faces serious financial distress or failure. [1]
The agencies also said a shortcoming previously identified in BNP Paribas’s 2021 resolution plan had been satisfactorily addressed. [1]
