RTL Nieuws says its website and app are safe to use again after a PHP vulnerability prompted precautionary outages across many large websites.
Review information is loading.
RTL Nieuws’ website and app are back online after being taken offline for several hours as a precaution over vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language. RTL says the issue has been fixed and that users do not need to take any action. [1]
The broadcaster also said the disruption caused no harmful consequences. PHP’s developers released an update on Wednesday afternoon to address the problem, which led to many large websites being taken offline. Tech site Tweakers was also back online, Nieuws.nl reported. [1]
