The *Celebrity Traitors* contestants who may gain most from the show are not necessarily its winners: BBC News says King Kenny, Miranda Hart, Maya Jama and Joanne McNally could see career opportunities grow after the series.
Sebastian “Bash” Croft won the game alongside Romesh Ranganathan, but the BBC’s interviews with entertainment journalists and television reporters suggest the show may have introduced Croft and Kenny to much larger audiences. Kenny, a member of YouTube group Beta Squad, reached the final as a traitor. Showbiz journalist Nikki Onafuye described him as the least familiar name to mainstream viewers before the series; broadcaster Marina Hyde said on *The Rest is Entertainment* podcast that he had “100%” become a mainstream star.
Television reporter Siobhan Synnot said Kenny could be suited to panel shows, presenting, reality competitions or other entertainment formats. She sees Jama’s potential gains as less dramatic: already a prominent presenter, she may emerge with a broader image beyond *Love Island*.
Hart, meanwhile, returned to the public eye after a period of ill health. The BBC points to her viral dance and emotional moments on the show as examples of the openness that made her a standout for culture journalist Natalie Jamieson. A possible return of Hart’s sitcom has been reported by *The Sun*, but the BBC says it declined to comment on the prospect.
McNally, who reached the semi-final, could also benefit from greater exposure. Her stand-up tour has been extended into 2027; Radio Times TV editor Caroline Frost said her agents would be “fielding calls” about other shows. The BBC notes that McNally’s podcast was already popular before the series.
Croft’s win may also help his career: the 24-year-old actor and emerging pop musician has a debut EP due later in November. Frost said the programme had introduced him to a wider audience.
The BBC’s assessment is that screen time and how contestants use it may matter as much as the prize. It also notes that several other players, including Sharon Rooney, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Myha’la, stood out during the series, while early departures may still have gained memorable moments and new fans.
