KLM flight KL461 from Bucharest to Tel Aviv was cancelled after a technical problem emerged as the aircraft was taxiing for departure early on Friday, leaving passengers to be put up in hotels while the airline seeks replacement flights, KLM said.
The aircraft had earlier landed in Bucharest after a bomb threat was received on Thursday evening. The plane, which had left Amsterdam at 16:40 bound for Tel Aviv, landed as planned and passengers disembarked while the aircraft was examined. The flight was cleared to continue after a security check, but the technical fault was discovered during taxiing, according to a KLM spokesperson quoted by ANP.
