Frank van Leeuwen will host a new WNL news quiz on NPO 1 from 15 February, with three well-known Dutch guests answering questions about the day’s news and competing to win money for a viewer at home, according to broadcaster WNL [1].
The quiz is based on the Belgian programme *De Dag van Vandaag*. After four rounds, a live reporter will visit a viewer who signed up during the broadcast. The guests then try to win the accumulated prize for that viewer in the final. The reporter has not yet been named [1].
WNL editor-in-chief Kees Berghuis said the programme would showcase the broadcaster’s range and praised Van Leeuwen’s ability to connect the news with viewers at home. Van Leeuwen described hosting it as a “nice challenge” [1].
The Dutch version is being made by Mediawan Skyhigh, which also produces *De Slimste Mens* [1].
