The former world snooker champion was sentenced in Edinburgh after being convicted of offences against two children dating from the 1990s and 2000s.

Dott was convicted on 24 August at the High Court in Glasgow. The two counts concerned abuse of a girl between 1993 and 1996 and a boy between 2006 and 2010. He denied the charges and gave evidence in his defence. [2] [3] [4]
