Michael Douglas says Marvel Studios would not let his character, Hank Pym, die in the *Ant-Man* films, despite the actor wanting him written out. He made the remarks on the *Happy Sad Confused* podcast, according to Nieuws.nl. [1]
Douglas played the scientist in the 2015 film and its sequels, released in 2018 and 2023. “I was supposed to be killed off after the second one, but they wouldn’t let that happen,” he said. [1]
He also said he had wanted to try acting in front of a green screen, but found the process difficult. The technique allows backgrounds and effects to be added digitally after filming. [1]
