Hilary Swank says women face more criticism than men for having children later in life. The actor, 52, recently announced she is expecting her third child with her husband, Philip Schneider.
In a clip from an interview due to air on *The Drew Barrymore Show* on 20 October, Swank recalled that a stranger told her she was too old to have children. Swank, who gave birth to twins at 47, said she understood the woman’s feelings because both of them had lost their fathers. She said she would rather have been born and known her father than not have had that experience. [1]
