Ongehoord Nederland (ON!) will meet officials at the Dutch education ministry on 11 November to argue against the withdrawal of its broadcasting licence, Nieuws.nl reports.
The broadcaster’s director, Peter Vlemmix, will give an oral explanation of why the licence should not be withdrawn. He told the ANP news agency that the meeting would be followed by a decision from the minister. Vlemmix described the broadcaster’s future as entering a “critical phase”.
In September, education minister Rianne Letschert announced her intention to withdraw ON!’s recognition. The move followed an online programme segment in which Hitler was spoken of approvingly. The Media Authority said the minister could withdraw the licence because the broadcaster had received two sanctions in September 2025.
