Mollie plans to launch an online payment service in the Netherlands and the UK, positioning it against iDEAL and Wero.
Review information is loading.
Payments company Mollie plans to introduce a new way to pay for goods and services online, starting in the Netherlands and the UK, ANP reported on 5 October. The agency describes the planned service as a direct competitor to iDEAL and its successor, Wero. [1]
Mollie confirmed to ANP that its service will not offer buyer protection, unlike Wero. According to Mollie, the system connects directly to more than 2,500 banks. [1]
ANP did not report a product name or launch date, so it remains unclear when customers will be able to use the service. [1]
