Dutch local authorities and business groups say government plans to improve infrastructure are a first step, but warn that more funding is needed for repairs, replacements and new projects.
Dutch municipalities, provinces, transport regions and business groups say the government’s plans to restore the country’s infrastructure are an important first step, but more funding is still needed for maintenance, replacement and new construction.

Among those making the joint statement are the Association of Netherlands Municipalities, the Amsterdam Transport Region, business group VNO-NCW and construction trade body Bouwend Nederland. [1]
