Bonnie Tyler’s final studio recording to be released as Christmas single

Bonnie Tyler’s final studio recording will be released as a Christmas single on 13 November, with her husband, Robert Sullivan, saying he misses the Welsh singer “every single day” after her death in July, aged 75.

Sullivan described the past year as “heartbreaking”. He said Tyler, to whom he had been married for 50 years, never stopped working and loved singing for her fans.

Tyler recorded “Love, Light and Peace” with producer David Mackay. The song was written by Chrissie Hammond and Terry Britten, who also produced it with Mackay. Britten first worked with Tyler in 1977, playing guitar on her debut album, *The World Starts Tonight*.

Tyler died after emergency intestinal surgery in Portugal. Her death came shortly before a planned European tour marking 50 years since “Lost in France” broke into the UK singles chart.

Her last song is due to be released on 13 November. Sullivan said he was proud of the music she left behind and believed she would have wanted people to hear it.
