Peter Gillis says Talpa has asked to discuss a possible return to television after the broadcaster stopped filming his reality series following his conviction for assaulting his former partner.
The Dutch reality star and businessman told RTL Boulevard that several parties had approached him. “Talpa has already indicated it wants to have a conversation,” he said. “I don’t think the world of television is completely over.”
No return has been agreed. Gillis said he thinks he may appear on television again in the future; the report does not say when talks with Talpa will take place or whether a new series is planned.
His reality show, *Massa is Kassa*, began on SBS6 in 2020. Its latest season ended in June. Talpa announced it was stopping filming after a court found Gillis guilty of assaulting his former partner, Nicol Kremers, in May and sentenced him to 60 hours of community service. Gillis appealed the ruling, according to Nieuws.nl.
Gillis has also been involved in other legal disputes, including cases concerning alleged illegal accommodation of migrant workers and tax fraud convictions that he has appealed. Separately, three holiday parks associated with his business attracted bids totalling more than €27 million at auction in October; the amount was a bid total, not confirmation that the parks had been sold.
