All 18,000 places in the 2027 Rotterdam Marathon have been allocated, after 70,000 people registered for the chance to take part, organisers said on Thursday.
The 46th race is scheduled for 11 April 2027. Organisers said further marathon places may become available in December.
“We are delighted by the huge interest in the NN Marathon Rotterdam. At the same time, we realise that we will have to disappoint many people,” sporting manager Michel Butter said.
