Singer Davina Michelle says she had personal security for a period after some fans behaved in ways that left her feeling unsafe. She described the experience on the podcast *Afterparty*, though she did not say when it happened or how long the security was in place. [1]
“I had all sorts of crazies at my gate who had delusions and were having episodes,” she said. She added that the experience affected her sense of security: “With every step I took, or if I heard something creak, I thought: they’re walking on the roof.” [1]
Michelle also said she no longer reads negative comments on social media, describing that as one downside of her fame. [1]
