The Indianapolis Colts beat the Washington Commanders 30–13 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday, 4 October, in the first game of this year’s NFL London series. Attendance was 60,907 after ticket prices had been cut twice, BBC Sport reported. [1]
Tickets initially went on sale in July for £79–£245. Prices were reduced in late August and again in the week before the game. According to BBC Sport, some fans who paid £185 sat beside others who had recently paid £79. London tickets ranged from £55 to £125 in 2019. [1]
The NFL also ended packages that guaranteed discounted seats at every London game after the 2024 season. Former season-ticket holder Matt Cullen blamed higher prices and the loss of the packages for slow sales, saying many long-time fans had been priced out. Another former holder, Dave, said losing the packages was disappointing but gave more people a chance to attend. [1]
Demand has varied across the series. The following week’s Philadelphia Eagles–Jacksonville Jaguars game at Tottenham sold out in hours, while large sections remained unsold for the Wembley game scheduled for 18 October, BBC Sport reported on 4 October. [1]
