Internazionale came from behind to beat Fiorentina 2-1 with two stoppage-time goals, reclaiming top spot in Serie A on goal difference from Lazio. Both clubs have 22 points.
Fiorentina looked set for victory after Álex Jiménez put them ahead with a powerful shot midway through the second half. Marcus Thuram equalised in the 91st minute, and Piotr Zieliński converted a penalty in the 98th to complete Inter’s comeback.
The win puts Inter back above Lazio in the standings. Inter’s previous league victory was a 3-1 win at Bologna, when they also held a three-point lead over Lazio, who had a game in hand. The Bologna match came after Inter’s Champions League defeat by Club Brugge.
