Police arrested 17 people on Thursday evening, 1 October, while clearing squatters from a former gym on Grondelstraat in Arnhem. Officers had told the occupants to leave earlier that day. When they stayed, a mobile police unit was deployed. [1]
A police spokesperson said on Friday that all 17 remained in custody on suspicion of trespass and were due to be questioned that day. [1]
