Dutch television presenter Catherine Keyl is stepping down as a columnist for VROUW, a supplement to De Telegraaf, after writing for the publication regularly since 2009. The 80-year-old says she has no plans to slow down and is starting a new phase of her career.
In a farewell interview with the newspaper, Keyl said: “Absolutely not! I’m starting a whole new one.” She is due to appear this year in a Christmas show by comedians Rayen Panday and Nabil Aoulad Ayad.
Keyl said the new project was a challenge she was looking forward to, adding that a younger columnist could take over from her.
