Some coach departures for Glastonbury 2027 were oversold. Affected customers will keep their festival tickets, with coach fares refunded unless they choose to retain their coach seats by 31 October.

Glastonbury Festival 2027 coach packages were oversold for some departures because of an administrative error, but affected customers will keep their festival tickets and receive a refund for the coach fare, according to BBC News. [1]
See Tickets, the festival’s ticketing partner, told customers that unless they opt to keep their coach seat by 31 October 2026, their booking will automatically become a general admission ticket. The coach fare will be refunded to the card used for the original purchase.
The company’s customer services team said the error would not affect festival deposits and that ticket holders could pay the remaining balance in April as usual. See Tickets apologised to customers. The agency declined to comment further; the BBC reported that the festival was not responsible for the mistake. [1]
Coach packages cost between £26 and £185 on top of general admission, depending on the departure point and whether the journey is one-way or return, the BBC reported. [1]
Some customers welcomed the change because it gives them more flexibility over travel. Laura Brooks, from Birmingham, told the BBC she and her friends had bought coach packages after repeatedly missing out on general admission tickets. She said she was glad their festival tickets had not been lost. [1]
