The Dutch government’s provisional week 40 figure includes asylum applications and arriving family members, not just first-time applicants.
Review information is loading.
The Dutch government reported about 860 in its asylum inflow measure for week 40. The total includes more than new asylum applications: the government listed 530 first applications, 300 arriving family members and 30 other applications or arrivals, covering repeat applications, resettlement and relocation. The figure for family members excludes a category labelled ‘8EVRM’, which the notice does not define. [1]
The figures are rounded to the nearest ten and may change slightly. The government says the Immigration and Naturalisation Service publishes final asylum figures and trends monthly, but it gave no date for a final week 40 figure. [1]
