Frenkie de Jong has been recalled to the Netherlands squad for the closing Nations League group matches against Greece and Germany, after missing the first four internationals under coach Xavi Hernández because of a knee injury sustained at the World Cup.
The Barcelona midfielder recently returned to action for his club. Aston Villa defender Ian Maatsen and Bournemouth forward Justin Kluivert have also been called up.
The Netherlands host Greece next Friday at the Johan Cruijff ArenA before travelling to Berlin to face Germany three days later. The Dutch and Greeks are level on eight points at the top of the group; Germany have five, while Serbia have none. The top two qualify for the quarter-finals.
