Bukayo Saka scored and assisted in Arsenal’s Champions League victory over Lille after illness kept him out of the starting side.

Bukayo Saka set up a goal and scored another after coming off the bench in Arsenal’s 3–0 Champions League win over Lille, BBC Sport reported. His contribution followed an earlier call, described in the report, for him to think more about scoring goals in each game. [1]
Saka assisted Eberechi Eze for Arsenal’s second goal before scoring their third. He had felt unwell the day before and on the day of the match and was not ready to start, the report said. [1]
The pre-match message was that a change in Saka’s goalscoring mentality could help him get into more scoring positions. He had also been told to aim for “two or three” goals per game. Arsenal manager Arteta, quoted in the report, said he was “very happy” but did not know whether the display was a response to his earlier message. [1]
