King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are due to visit Ceuta on 13 October and Melilla on 14 October, ANP/AFP reported via Nieuws.nl. The two Spanish enclaves lie on the North African coast, where Morocco regards them as its own territory. [1]
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez called on the king last month to visit Ceuta, the agency reported. It would be Felipe’s first visit there since he took the throne in 2014. [1]
