Sinfield finished at Old Trafford after a week-long route through all 12 Super League clubs, raising money for motor neurone disease causes in memory of Rob Burrow.

Sir Kevin Sinfield has completed seven ultramarathons in seven days, finishing at Old Trafford in Manchester ahead of the Super League Grand Final. His challenge began in Hull on 27 September and visited all 12 Super League clubs. Each day was divided into hour-long, 7km sections, with an additional mile for members of the motor neurone disease (MND) community to join. [1]
Sinfield undertook the challenge to raise money for MND causes in memory of his friend and teammate Rob Burrow, who died in 2024. Sinfield and his team have raised more than £13m for the MND community since his first annual challenge in 2020. Money from this week's event will support six organisations, including the MND Association, MND Scotland and the Irish MND Association. [1]
Burrow’s wife, Lindsey, told BBC Radio 4’s PM that her husband would have been proud of Sinfield. She described the finish as bittersweet because Burrow was not there to see it. [1]
