Police have registered a rape case against an unidentified suspect and formed a special investigation team. The university denies that an assault occurred; its dean, Sorabh Lakhanpal, told NDTV the allegation had been confirmed as a rumour. Police say they cannot yet determine whether a rape took place. They have not identified an alleged victim or suspect, and footage reviewed so far has shown no evidence of an attack, though officers have not examined all the campus cameras. [1] [3] [5]
